They learned about tax credits, manufacturing advancements, and energy supply chain strategies critical to the nation's energy infrastructure. Additionally, the session highlighted the DOE loans program, providing valuable insights into funding and support for innovative energy projects.
Final Reception: The Fairmont Hotel
The final reception was held at the Fairmont Hotel in DC and was generously hosted by AFL-CIO HIT. Fellows had the opportunity to share their experiences and reflections on the program, while AFL-CIO HIT and other Host organizations such as Ullico, LIUNA, and IUPAT expressed their appreciation for the fellows' contributions and the program's impact.
A huge thank you goes out to the Department of Energy, AFL-CIO HIT, and our partners at Georgetown's KI Institute for their continued support to Heartland and the LCS Fellowship. We truly could not do it without you.
The event also served as an excellent networking opportunity, bringing together hosts, current fellows, and alumni to connect and celebrate their collective achievements.
