Cohen Milstein

Cohen Milstein recently secured a landmark victory for investors in the high-profile case against Bayer AG following its acquisition of Monsanto. Representing the Sheet Metal Workers National Pension Fund and other union pension funds, Cohen Milstein achieved preliminary approval for a $38 million cash settlement in a hard-fought securities class action in June. The lawsuit alleged that Bayer and its executives misled investors about the risks associated with Monsanto’s Roundup litigation. Ultimately, this led to Bayer establishing a $10.9 billion settlement fund after a series of court defeats.

Robbins Geller

Robbins Geller continues to hold companies accountable and stand up for investors. In a recent high-impact case, the firm secured a $126 million settlement for SPAC investors, marking one of the largest ever recoveries in SPAC-related securities litigation. The case argued that investors took on significant financial losses as a consequence of misleading disclosures. Rosen Law Firm is recognized as a top-securities class action law firm. One of their recent notable cases involves representing investors in a major securities class action against Block, Inc. (NYSE: SQ, XYZ). The case alleges that the company failed to address compliance lapses and anti-money laundering controls, enabling illegal activities. This case serves as an example of Rosen’s greater impact: the firm has recovered over a billion dollars for investors in cases against major companies such as Alibaba Group ($250 million settlement) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles ($110 million), among others.
